Laptop - check!

Taking into great consideration the majority of your guys' suggestions I ordered the Thinkpad X60 and cannot wait to set it all up. I love being able to check things off the CBS to-do list! A little heads up to those planning on purchasing computers, my machine doesn't ship for another 3 weeks so I wouldn't wait too long to order them.
As already mentioned by Brownoski and Foobarme, the three of us spent our sunny Sunday in Calistoga sampling the tasty local wines. I do have the video of the crazy Chardonnay loving koi fish, but I cannot figure out how to upload it so you guys will just have to take our word for the fact that they wanted nothing to do with Merlot and literally went wild for the Chard. Below are a few photos from the trip - click on them to see the larger versions.

My pre-MBA trip is finally only a few days away! I know it seems like all I do is travel, but this one was the original one and has been in the works since January. On Friday afternoon I leave for a weekend Vegas Bachelorette Party and straight from there fly to Lima, Peru for a two week adventure. I am still not sure if I can survive the 5 day Machu Picchu hike, it will definitely be an experience of a lifetime. I will take a ton of pictures and report back to ya'll once I get back.
Good luck to everyone still waiting for decisions!!!

I love the pictures. By the way, the thumb looks like a smaller and younger version of the giant Thumb in La Defense business district in Paris. Picture here: Giant Thumb

Have fun in Peru! The Inca trail is going to be, probably, in my next itinerary in South America, sometime in the next 5 years.

Cheers,

Patxi

The toughest part of machu picchu is the altitude and you will be going during the start of winter so check the weather (I went in Dec/Jan when it was summer down there)

Hi Marina,

I like your pictures, esp. the one with the pretty flower in it. Do take more pictures in Peru. I heard so many good things about it. I just might go there next year if you recommend it highly as well.

:-)

Your comment about the 3 week delivery time is actually the reason why I bought it yesterday. I just need to get before I leave work so I can get all of my great downloads off of my work computer. Thanks for the tip.

They actually gave me a certificate for a pair of shoes worth up to $110. The race entry fee was only $30 so I will actually profit on this one. So are you back from your grand adventure? I will keep any eye for posts about your trip. I assume that you got your new T60. I ordered my T43 after you and I already got mine. My colleague ordered at T60 and he got his too. Thinkpad's are the best, no doubt.
